Extra Costs
There's often some degree of confusion about how certain details may affect the cost of the commission. Here's a list of common ones I get asked about and the answers.
The exact price is always case-by-case for these (and you can always ask me in advance if you want to know what the exact cost will be), but this should let you know what to expect in general.
These are FREE to include in an image:
A reasonable amount of simple props, objects, magic spell effects, etc., that will NOT considerably increase the amount of time the image will take to draw.
Disembodied "ghost" body parts, such as floating hands that interact with a character (within reason)
Text, sound effects, dialogue, speech/thought balloons, ect.
Cutaway/side panels with minimal content (basically, if the content of the side panel is something I'd include for free in the main image, it won't get charged extra just for existing in a cutaway panel)
Detailed vore bulges (Some people have asked if these count as extra characters and the answer is no, they don't!)
EXTREMELY small characters, to the point that they are little more than specks on the image (think hyper macro/micro themed art)
These will ADD to the cost of the image:
A large amount or high complexity of props, objects, magic spell effects, etc. that WILL considerably increase the amount of time the image takes to draw.
Disembodied "ghost" body parts, such as floating hands that interact with the character (if there's like a LOT of them or if it's a full-body silhouette)
Alt/extra versions of an image
Cutaway/side panels with detailed content (such as those used for showing additional poses, POVs, or internal views)
Very complex characters
Excessive complexity in general. Anything that would very significantly increase the amount of time an image will take me to draw will increase the cost.
These types of characters will cost LESS than the normal cost:
Characters that have only a small amount of their body visible (Common in vore but also applies to characters that only have their heads in-frame or only appear in a cutaway panel.)
Very small characters, as in micro-themed art. ("Small" here means filling a very small amount of the image space, regardless of the character's canonical height/size.)
